"C'mere, Donut," Sean says affectionately, leaning down to hook an arm under my knees and then one under my shoulder blades, lifting me up and holding me to his chest as he sits in his recliner, tucking both feet close to his thighs. He relaxes his arms slightly so my ass is resting in between the space of his knees and stomach. We fit together like a puzzle. My feet brush his.
"So," he says shortly, sighing halfway into the word. "Tell me about what happened today."
He gives a tender, encouraging smile and brushes a lock of hair away from my eyes, tucking it behind my ear. "You can tell me, I won't think any less of you."

I wake with a yawn, smiling.
Rajesh is still asleep. But he stirs a little and gives out a little sigh, snuggling down further in the bed and closer to me, his toes brushing my knees as he curls into the fetal position for warmth. I give him a quick kiss on the forehead and he opens his eyes lazily. Then he smiles.
"Hey, Rick," he mumbles. "Good morning."
"Morning, Raj. I'm gonna go take a shower, okay?"
"Mmkay."
I get up and grab a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, whistling a little and almost tripping over my sweatpants as I shuffle to the bathroom.
I take my shower and get dressed for the day, coming out to see Rajesh pulling his favori
"Alright, Let's Go Crazy, guys! One two three four!"
We start playing, and as the first space in the music plays, I hear a very loud, very shrill "Ay ay ay!" pierce the air, coming from the bleachers.
Everyone looks at the music keeps playing.
Rajesh sits smugly in the top bleacher, looking pleased with himself as everyone else rolls their eyes.
I try not to laugh and Eric giggles while playing the drums, face bright red. The pep band keeps playing and the opposing basketball team looks at us like we're psychos, letting our team score a point. Our side cheers and the pep band plays a victory song, morale through the roof. We're winning.
